We design every story page around the basics of strong U.S. news products: a direct headline, a useful summary, source-aware reporting, readable typography, and navigation that helps readers move naturally from a lead story to related coverage.

The site is intentionally simple. Readers should be able to scan the front page, understand what changed, and open a full report without fighting visual clutter.
