Before The Exorcist II: The Heretic reached theaters in 1977, Saturday Night Live had already created its own hilarious version of an Exorcist sequel.
The sketch, titled “The Exorcist 2,” appeared during Richard Pryor's historic 1975 episode of Saturday Night Live.
Pryor plays a priest who arrives with another priest to deal with a young girl who appears to be possessed.

1. RICHARD PRYOR HOSTS SNL
A Historic Television Appearance: Richard Pryor hosted Saturday Night Live on December 13, 1975.
It was his only time hosting the show, and the episode became one of the most memorable programs from SNL's first season.
Pryor was also the first Black person to host the series.
